An interesting and creative idea to wait for Christmas
* Paper bags including red (size 8 1/2 x 11), light pink (4 3/4 x 6 3/4), pink (6 3/4 x 9 3/4), striped pink (5 1 / 8 x 6 3/8)

-Fold all the bags in different ways and sizes, then tape the folds together with washi tape. Opt for paper bags that are stronger and can fold well.
-Wrap the bags with green tape. You can change the knot styles and alignments to make each gift look different from the others. You can also leave some of the bags without ribbon.
-Put all the numbers on the bags. There is no specific order. It is even better if the numbers of the bags are mixed.
-Then arrange the small gifts to see how you will stick on the board. Use a large wooden board
-The board is not mandatory but it is easier to move. You can also very well arrange the small bags on a wall.
-Once you have decided the order of the placement of the gifts, you can stick them on the board or on the wall. And here ! Your calendar is done !
Reusable 2019 Advent Calendar in Pink and Gold
Want luxury, glamor and chocolate? Then this idea is for you! This calendar is really very elegant and in addition it is full of delicious chocolates. It will also make a great gift for someone. The little advice we can give you is to fill it with good luxury chocolates to match its appearance..
Very elegant advent calendar filled with chocolate
-a wooden cabinet with 25 drawers
-a selection of paint sample cans
-a selection of golden washi tapes
-a selection of pink washi tapes
-a pack of adhesive diamonds
-3 bundles of shiny golden numbers
-1 pack of glitter snowflakes
-sticky back plastic self-adhesive marbled vinyl
-self-adhesive golden black vinyl on sticky back
-gold fabric wrapping paper
-You can paint or repaint the wood cabinet you have chosen for the project. For this calendar the colors are pink and gold, but you can do it in your favorite colors.
-Make a selection of color swatches in varying shades and paint a few drawers in each color. You can leave the drawers that you are going to cover with paper unpainted.
-For boxes that have remained unpainted, cut the sticky paper into pieces large enough to cover the face of the drawers. Wrap a few more cans of washi tape. Using the craft knife, cut a hole for the handle and remove the excess tape paper with the utility knife.
-When all of your drawers are dry, you can start decorating them. You can try to make each box different from the others with pearls and diamonds which are easier to use using tweezers..
-Add any other decorations you want – ribbons, snowflakes, glitter and add the sticker numbers in the middle of the boxes. Again, to make your job easier, use pliers.
-The last box which will be open on December 25, can be completely different from the others to stand out. You can even make a diamond tree on it.
-Once all the boxes are decorated, it’s time to wrap them up. Cut gold wrapping paper into smaller squares.
-Put your little chocolates in the paper and cover completely, leaving a little paper that comes out of each box.
-Repeat for each box until you complete the schedule.
Advent calendar 2019 made of metal coffee cans
This calendar is made from recycled Illy coffee cans. But you can also use other metal boxes and adapted the tutorial. Metal boxes are good because they are big enough in non-transparent and so we have no way of guessing what’s inside.

* 24 pieces of fairly thick white paper
* a model of numbers to print with the numbers you need

-First cut out the numbers from the template you made and stick installation tape on the back
-Cut the white paper at the height of the metal boxes
-Paste them on the paper and write what you want on them like for example Merry Christmas or other
-Wrap all the boxes with white paper and glue it on
-Fill the boxes with the gifts you have chosen and arrange them in the shape of a Christmas tree
Matchbox Advent Calendar 2019
How about something very simple? Use store-bought matchboxes to count down the days until Christmas. To make a Christmas calendar from matchboxes you need 24 or 25 matchboxes. Then you need to use hot glue and glue the tops of the boxes to each other to form a row. Start with 9 boxes for the base and decrease the number of boxes with two each time until you have only one box left. Cut wrapping paper to cover each section and secure with hot glue. Then glue the rows with hot glue in a pyramid shape as you will see in the picture. Use stamped numbers you find in DIY stores to stick on boxes 1 through 25. And all you have to do is fill the boxes with gifts. *
A great idea made with matchboxes
Advent calendar on the Christmas tree
Instead of using a typical advent calendar, you can count down the days left until Christmas by making a large Christmas tree. You can then decorate it with ornaments in the shape of numbers that show the days left until Christmas. It’s a very original idea but if we don’t have any gifts !
The tree can be used as a calendar for Christmas
